Fire Department

The 14,000 square ft. Carthage Volunteer Fire Department is located at 4396 Hwy. 15/501 in Carthage where the department moved in July 2002. The department is staffed with a paid Fire Chief, 6 part-time fire fighters and 25 volunteers. They serve an area of 113 square miles and a population of approximately 4,600 people.
